And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him. By faith Noah, being warned by God concerning events as yet unseen, in reverent fear constructed an ark for the saving of his household. ~Hebrews 11:6-7a

If You do not go with me...
My last post talked about how I can't do everything on my plate and in many ways I am not supposed to be able to. God is the SuperHero of this story.
I started attending a small group study last week in which we are studying some of the promises of God. I am so excited to use this time to remember His promises. We started in Exodus 33 and verses 15-17 resonated with me.
And he {Moses} said to Him, "If Your presence will not go with me, do not bring us up from here. For how shall it be known that I have found favor in Your sight, I and Your people? Is it not in Your going with us, so that we are distinct, I and Your people, from every other people on the face of the earth?" And the LORD said to Moses, "This very thing that you have spoken I will do, for you have found favor in my sight, and I know you by name."
My prayers as of late have echoed Moses.
"Lord, do not take me through this journey if You do not go with me! Please let me find favor in Your sight - may I feel Your love beaming and covering me! Your going with me will shine Your glory from this story. When you walk with me, I know I have found favor with You. If you do not go with me... I don't want to do this. Be with me."
